As a Talent Acquisition & Employee Experience Coordinator, you will play a critical role in attracting, hiring, and engaging the people who shape our culture and drive our growth. This is not a traditional HR role. This position is focused on recruiting, team building, and telling the story of our company, both internally and externally. You will help create a best-in-class candidate experience, build strong hiring pipelines, and bring our culture to life through content, events, and employee engagement. We're looking for someone who brings energy to hiring, takes ownership of results, and understands that who we hire, and how we show up as a company, directly impacts our success. What You'll Do Recruiting & Talent Acquisition Partner with hiring managers to define roles and build compelling job descriptions Create and manage job postings across platforms and social media Develop and execute both traditional and creative recruiting strategies Proactively source, screen, and engage candidates Coordinate and schedule interviews while delivering a strong candidate experience Manage the offer process, including offer presentation and acceptance Own and continuously improve the full recruitment lifecycle Onboarding & First Impressions Lead onboarding coordination to ensure a smooth, welcoming start for new hires Help create a consistent and engaging "Day 1" and early employee experience Partner with leaders to ensure new team members are set up for success Employee Experience & Team Building Support and help execute employee engagement initiatives and recognition programs Assist in planning team events, celebrations, and culture-building activities Collaborate on internal communication efforts that reinforce company values Capture and document company events, team activities, and milestones Culture & Employer Branding (Storytelling) Capture and share photos, videos, and content from company events and day-to-day operations Highlight employee stories, wins, and behind-the-scenes moments Assist in creating social media and recruiting content that showcases TeamTDC Help build and maintain a strong, authentic employer brand that attracts top talent Partner with leadership to ensure our culture and values are consistently reflected in how we present ourselves What We're Looking For 3-5+ years of experience in recruiting, talent acquisition, or other people-focused roles (such as teaching, coaching, hospitality, or training) Strong ability to connect with people quickly, build trust, and make others feel comfortable Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) with a natural, engaging presence Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple candidates, priorities, and follow-ups Self-motivated with a strong sense of ownership, urgency, and accountability Comfortable leading conversations, asking thoughtful questions, and guiding candidates through the hiring process Creative thinker who can bring new ideas to recruiting, engagement, and employer branding efforts Comfortable using social media and tools like Canva (or similar) Interest in storytelling and capturing company culture through photos, videos, and content Ability to balance a people-first approach with achieving hiring goals and deadlines Basic ability to capture photos/video content (editing skills a plus, not required) Valid driver's license with reliable transportation What We Offer Comprehensive benefits including health, vision, and dental Company-paid life insurance Paid vacation & holidays 401K Short and long-term disability insurance Family-owned company with a fun, team-oriented environment About The Drying Company Specializing in keeping the outside, outside; The Drying Company is passionate about protecting homes and building strong relationships with our clients, our community, and our team.
