Inter-Con Security Systems is hiring Part-Time Security Officers in Burlington, VT . We are seeking experienced, professional candidates who can maintain a strong security presence while providing excellent customer service to employees, visitors, and the public. Qualified new hires are eligible for a $750 sign-on bonus. Bonus eligibility and payment terms apply.

Minimum Qualifications Candidates must:

Be at least 21 years of age Have a High School Diploma or GED Have at least 1 year of security experience Military or law enforcement experience may substitute for security experience Have a valid Driver's License Possess or be able to obtain applicable guard licensing and certifications Have reliable transportation Communicate effectively in English, verbally and in writing Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor Be able to stand and walk for extended periods Successfully complete required drug screening and background investigation Complete motor vehicle record, fingerprinting, and additional screening requirements when applicable Preferred Qualifications Customer service experience CPR/First Aid/AED certifications Previous banking, retail, or corporate security experience What You'll Do As a Security Officer, responsibilities may include: Maintain a professional and visible security presence Conduct foot patrols throughout assigned areas Monitor entrances, exits, and access-controlled locations Verify authorized access and monitor visitor activity Monitor CCTV and other security systems Identify and report suspicious activity, safety hazards, or security concerns Respond professionally to incidents and emergencies Complete accurate incident reports and daily activity logs Provide professional customer service and communication Follow established security procedures and post orders Support overall safety and security operations as assigned Pay, Bonus & Benefits $24.00 per hour $750 sign-on bonus for qualified new hires Part-time opportunities Training and career development Recognition and reward programs Medical, dental, vision, and 401(k) benefits for eligible employees Paid time off and holidays for eligible employees Company-provided uniforms and equipment Career advancement opportunities Sign-on bonus eligibility, payment schedule, and other terms apply.
