In this vital role, you will be the driving force behind managing our dental practice's HR functions, ensuring a seamless and compliant workplace environment. Your energetic approach and strategic mindset will help foster a positive, productive atmosphere where both staff and patients thrive. This position offers an exciting opportunity to leverage your HR expertise in a fast-paced, patient-centered setting, making a tangible difference in the lives of our team members and the community we serve. Responsibilities Oversee all human resources activities within the dental practice, including talent acquisition, onboarding, and employee orientation to ensure smooth integration of new team members. Manage employee evaluation processes, performance management systems, and training & development initiatives to promote continuous growth and engagement. Administer benefits programs, payroll processing, and workers' compensation claims while ensuring compliance with employment & labor laws and HR legal standards. Lead change management projects related to organizational design, workforce management, and strategic planning to support practice growth and operational efficiency. Handle employee relations issues with professionalism, including conflict management and fostering a positive work environment through effective communication skills. Monthly team meeting presentations Maintain accurate HR data entry within HRIS (Human Resources Information Systems) such as Oracle HCM or SAP SuccessFactors; analyze Excel data for reporting purposes. Ensure regulatory compliance management across all HR functions, including FMLA administration, affirmative action planning, and employment law adherence. Requirements
SHRM CP/SCP
Preferred Proven experience in human resources management within a healthcare or dental setting is highly preferred. Strong knowledge of Washington State employment & labor law, HR legal compliance, and regulatory standards applicable to healthcare environments. Proficiency with HR systems such as Paylocity; excellent skills in Microsoft Office suite including Excel data analysis. Demonstrated ability in recruiting, personnel administration, benefits administration, and payroll processing. Exceptional communication skills with the ability to handle confidential information discreetly and professionally. Experience with project management tools and techniques to lead initiatives like succession planning or organization design effectively. Ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently while maintaining attention to detail in data collection and entry tasks.
