Job Description

Summary:
We're looking for a highly organized, detail-obsessed HR Coordinator who thrives in a fast-paced environment where accuracy and speed matter. In this role, you'll be the engine behind seamless HR operations—owning critical processes like onboarding, benefits administration, HRIS management, payroll support, and compliance with precision and efficiency. You'll play a key role in delivering a smooth, responsive employee experience by managing high-volume tasks, maintaining data integrity, and ensuring nothing slips through the cracks. Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Process employee actions in the HRIS/Payroll system(UKG WFR), including benefits, W-4, direct deposit, new hire, termination, and others.
  • Maintain accuracy and confidentiality of employee records and documentation.
  • Conduct audits routinely for payroll, benefits, and HR programs to ensure compliance and data integrity.
  • Assist in the administration of health and welfare benefit plans, including enrollments, changes, and documentation.
  • Support open enrollment activities, including packet preparation, data entry, and employee communications.
  • Assist in Payroll draft audits to ensure highest level of accuracy.
  • Partner with payroll and benefits providers to ensure timely and accurate processing of employee benefits.
  • Facilitate the onboarding process for new hires, including background checks, I-9 verification, and system setup.
  • Maintain and reverify I-9 documentation for current employees in compliance with federal regulations.
  • Coordinate offboarding activities, including final pay, benefits termination, and preparation of separation letters.
  • Serve as a point of contact for employee and manager HR inquiries, providing guidance and timely assistance.
  • Manage employee milestone programs, such as bi-annual anniversary certificates.
  • Plan and execute employee events and celebrations for company locations near headquarters.
  • Complete annual HR compliance poster orders and distribution.
  • Partner with the Safety Manager to provide OSHA work and average hour data for
OSHA 300
reporting.
  • Support the HR team with special projects, process improvements, and HR initiative.
  • Ensure consistent application of HR policies and procedures across the organization.
  • Maintains compliance with federal, state (WA, OR, MT, ID), and local employment laws and regulations, and recommended best practices; reviews policies and practices to maintain compliance.
  • Performs other duties as assigned. Competencies

  • Knowledge of employment laws and HR compliance.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and HRIS systems (preferably UKG). Education and Experience
  • High school diploma/GED required.
  • Bachelor's degree in HR, Business Administration or a related field preferred.
  • 3 years of human resources experience preferred.
  • SHRM-CP strongly preferred. Work environment The environment is primarily an office setting, with some need to be in a manufacturing environment. Physical demands
  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Must be able to lift 25 pounds at times.
  • Must be able to access and navigate each department at the organization's facilities.
Travel required. Only local travel related to personal development, and worksite visits within 5 miles.
Pay:
$24.04 - $31.25 per hour
