Implements company policies and deals with staffing or disciplinary issues as needed.

Job Description
- Supervise and lead the HR organization at the site to ensure they have the training, knowledge and support necessary to meet the site's HR objectives.
- Develop and implement the organization's HR processes, practices & systems to build organizational and people capability (i.e., staffing, performance management, training & development, employee relations).
- Lead and manage initiatives as directed by organization site leadership, facilitating change management, engagement, coaching and advising of stakeholders.
- Develop and implement workforce planning and forecasting initiatives in alignment with site HR goals and deliver accordingly.
- Provide expert advice on HR, labor regulatory issues; providing coaching to senior leaders to foster effective relationships with their employees.
- Implement innovative HR solutions while ensuring the ability to attract and retain required skills.
- Monitor, evaluate and implement HR improvements as directed in order to improve operational effectiveness and efficiency in the site.
- Utilize corporate support resources to deliver tactical and operational support by ensuring effective delivery.
- Perform other duties as requested.
Qualifications Minimum Requirements:
- Master's degree AND five (5) years Professional Human Resources experience, with supervisory/lead experience including two (2) years Generalist experience; OR
- Bachelor's degree AND seven (7) years Professional Human Resources experience, with supervisory/lead experience including two (2) years Generalist experience; OR
- High School Diploma/GED AND eleven (11) years Professional Human Resources experience, with supervisory/lead experience including two (2) years Generalist experience
Preferred Qualifications:
- Degree in Human Resources Management, Business or related discipline
- Mining or industrial setting experience
- Previous leadership experience
Criteria/Conditions:
- Location requires mobility in an office environment; each floor is accessible by elevator. Occasionally work will be performed in a mine, outdoor or manufacturing plant setting.
- Must be able to frequently sit, stand and walk.
- Must be able to frequently lift and carry up to 10 pounds.
- Must be able to work in a potentially stressful environment.
- Personal protective equipment is required when performing work in a mine, outdoor, manufacturing or plant environment, including hard hat, hearing protection, safety glasses, safety footwear, and as needed, respirator, rubber steel-toe boots, protective clothing, gloves and any other protective equipment as required.
