Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and strategic Human Resource & Payroll Manager to lead our HR and payroll functions with energy and precision. This is a part time role with room to grow into a full time position. This is a hybrid HR & Accounting role. Not an entry level position. Spanish speaking required. This role is vital in shaping our organizational culture, ensuring compliance with employment laws, and managing payroll operations seamlessly. The ideal candidate will be a proactive leader with a passion for talent management, process improvement, and fostering positive employee relations. You will drive initiatives that enhance employee engagement, streamline HR processes, and support our company's growth objectives. Responsibilities Oversee all aspects of payroll processing using systems such as ADP, Paychex, Workday, or equivalent platforms to ensure accuracy and timeliness. Assist with Accounts Payables duties and Accounting elements Develop and implement HR policies aligned with employment law, OSHA standards, and best practices to maintain legal compliance across all operations. Lead talent acquisition efforts by managing sourcing strategies, conducting interviews, and coordinating onboarding processes to attract top talent. Manage employee relations by addressing conflicts proactively, conducting employee evaluations, and facilitating resolution through effective conflict management techniques. Supervise HR team members in delivering employee orientation, training & development programs, and performance management initiatives to foster continuous growth. Administer benefits programs including health insurance, workers' compensation, and retirement plans while ensuring compliance with relevant regulations. Drive organizational design projects, succession planning, and process improvements to optimize workforce efficiency and support strategic objectives. Maintain accurate HR data collection and analysis for reporting purposes. Collaborate with senior leadership and change management initiatives to support company-wide goals. Skills Extensive knowledge of employment & labor law, OSHA standards, FMLA regulations, and workers' compensation procedures. Proven experience in supervising HR teams with strong leadership skills in talent management and employee relations. Expertise in payroll administration using platforms like Paychex. Fluent in Spanish (speaking and writing) Excellent communication skills with the ability to present complex information clearly to diverse audiences. Demonstrated ability in strategic planning, process improvement, program management, and organizational design. Experience with recruiting strategies Knowledge of OSHA regulations and safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment for all employees. Pay:
$25.00 - $35.00 per hour
