Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking an experienced Human Resources Manager for a direct hire opportunity in Hayward, CA. This management-level role is ideal for a well-rounded HR professional who can lead day-to-day human resources operations while supporting long-term workforce strategy, employee engagement, compliance, and organizational effectiveness. The Human Resources Manager will serve as a trusted partner to leadership and employees, helping create a positive, compliant, and productive workplace. This opportunity offers the chance to make a meaningful impact across recruiting, onboarding, employee relations, compensation and benefits, performance management, training, and HR policy administration. This is a strong fit for a hands-on HR leader who enjoys building relationships, solving complex people-related challenges, and supporting a collaborative work environment. The role offers stability, leadership visibility, and the opportunity to contribute to a culture focused on teamwork, accountability, and continuous improvement. Key Responsibilities
  • Serve as a key point of contact between management and employees by addressing questions, interpreting policies and contracts, and helping resolve workplace issues.
  • Manage employee relations, including conflict resolution, disciplinary procedures, performance management, and workplace investigations.
  • Oversee recruiting, interviewing, selection, onboarding, and new hire orientation to support staffing needs and employee success.
  • Administer and evaluate compensation, benefits, HR policies, labor relations, safety programs, and employee development initiatives.
  • Advise managers on HR compliance matters, including equal employment opportunity, harassment prevention, labor regulations, and organizational policies.
  • Plan, direct, and coordinate HR department activities related to employment, compensation, training, personnel administration, and workforce planning.
  • Backup payroll as needed Compensation and Benefits
  • Salary range: $90,000 to $110,000 per year.
