Job Description

Senior Director of Human Resources Compensation:
$160,000 - $180,000 + bonus + benefits Los Angeles, CA | On-Site | Multi-Unit Restaurant / QSR You've already proven you can run HR. What's next? If you've spent the last several years leading HR in a multi-unit restaurant or QSR company, this is a chance to step into a bigger seat. Well known growing Southern California restaurant brand entering its next stage of growth. They're looking for a Senior Director of Human Resources who can lead the people function today and, once established, grow into a VP-level role . This is not a narrow corporate HR position. You'll work directly with ownership and senior leadership, stay close to restaurant operations, and have real influence over how the company hires, develops, retains, and supports its people. What You'll Own Lead HR across a growing multi-unit restaurant organization Partner directly with ownership and senior leadership Build stronger recruiting and applicant pipelines for restaurant and leadership roles Improve interviewing, selection, onboarding, and hiring-manager capability Lead employee relations, investigations, performance management, and coaching Ensure compliance with California employment law Strengthen succession planning, leadership development, and retention Improve HR systems, policies, reporting, and accountability Stay connected to restaurant operations and what is happening in the field Recruiting Matters Here We want someone who knows how to build a recruiting engine, and lead all aspect of Talent Aquisition.
You should understand how to:
Build pipelines before roles become urgent Recruit strong restaurant leaders Improve manager interviewing and selection Track where candidates come from and what converts Partner closely with operations on hiring needs What We're Looking For Strong HR leadership experience in restaurants, QSR, fast casual, or multi-unit hospitality Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field. Ideally 4-6+ years at the Senior Director level or similar scope Strong background in recruiting, talent acquisition, interviewing, and pipeline development Deep knowledge of California employment law Experience with employee relations, performance management, and leadership development Comfortable working directly with owners and senior executives Hands-on, practical, and close to operations Spanish-language skills are preferred but not required.
