As our Regional People & Culture Manager, you'll be the strategic force driving our P&C initiatives across a multi-location region, based out of our Orange, CA office. This role has full P&C accountability across multiple locations within the region, including overseeing operations across California and Florida. As a Regional People & Culture Business Partner, you will be pivotal in: Strategic Business Partnership Serve as the trusted advisor to assigned business leaders. Build strong relationships with leaders and labor union members to understand business priorities and workforce needs. Coach leaders on employee relations, performance management, leadership effectiveness, and difficult employee conversations. Support organizational change initiatives through thoughtful change management and communication planning. Promote a positive employee experience aligned with organizational values and culture. HR Operations Manage employee relations matters, conducting investigations and recommending appropriate resolutions. Advise leaders on interpretation and consistent application of collective bargaining agreements, company policies, procedures, and employment laws. Support recruitment, internal promotions, transfers, and workforce planning activities in partnership with Talent Acquisition. Facilitate performance management processes, including coaching, performance improvement plans, and corrective actions. Partner with leaders on compensation recommendations, ensuring alignment with job architecture, salary structures, and organizational guidelines. Support leave management, accommodations, and return-to-work processes in partnership with the benefits team. Ensure timely and accurate HR documentation and system transactions. Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local employment regulations. Identify opportunities to improve HR processes, simplify workflows, and increase operational efficiency. Partner closely with Shared Services, Talent Acquisition, Payroll, Benefits, and Labor Relations to ensure seamless delivery of People & Culture services. Participate in enterprise People & Culture initiatives and projects. Contribute to the development and implementation of standardized policies, procedures, and frameworks.
Qualifications:
We are seeking a seasoned P&C professional who possesses the following qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or equivalent work experience. Five (5) or more years of progressive Human Resources experience. Demonstrated experience advising leaders on employee relations, performance management, and organizational issues. Highly organized, excellent communication, coaching, and interpersonal skills. Strong working knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices Strong analytical, problem-solving abilities, and ability to work through ambiguity. Experience managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Proficiency with Human Resource Information Systems (HRIS) and Microsoft Office applications. Preferred Experience supporting multi-site or geographically dispersed operations. Experience working in unionized environments. Experience supporting organizational change and transformation initiatives.
