Chief Financial Officer (CFO) Position OverviewWe are recruiting for an experienced Human Resources Manager to join an established, performance-driven organization with over 100 employees.

This is a hands-on HR leadership role responsible for managing the core Human Resources function while serving as a trusted resource to employees, managers, and company leadership.

The ideal candidate will bring a strong, well-rounded HR background with particular strength in employee relations, investigations, performance management, manager coaching, benefits, compliance, recruiting, and day-to-day HR operations.

The right HR Manager will understand how to support employees while helping managers establish expectations, address performance concerns, and maintain a productive and accountable workplace.

Candidates coming from sales, service, or other performance-driven organizations will be especially well aligned with the company environment. Key Responsibilities Serve as a primary HR resource for employees, managers, and leadership Manage employee relations matters and provide guidance on workplace issues Conduct and document workplace investigations Guide managers through performance management and corrective action Coach managers on employee relations and effective people management Manage recruiting and hiring activities Oversee employee onboarding and offboarding Coordinate benefits administration, health enrollment, and annual benefits rollout Provide oversight of payroll-related HR processes Administer employee leaves and ensure appropriate documentation and compliance Maintain compliance with applicable employment laws and HR requirements Support workplace safety programs and compliance Assist with 401(k) administration and compliance Maintain and improve HR policies, procedures, documentation, and employee records Partner directly with the CFO and company leadership on HR and employee matters Identify HR risks and provide practical recommendations to leadership Support a company culture focused on people, performance, accountability, and results Qualifications Bachelor's degree required Progressive Human Resources experience across multiple HR disciplines Strong employee relations experience Experience conducting workplace investigations Demonstrated experience with performance management and corrective action Experience coaching and advising managers Knowledge of employment law and HR compliance Experience with benefits administration and employee enrollment Experience administering employee leaves Working knowledge of payroll processes and payroll-related HR compliance Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills Sound judgment and ability to independently navigate sensitive employee matters Ability to maintain confidentiality and appropriately handle sensitive information Comfortable working in a hands-on HR leadership position Ability to work 100% on-site, five days per week Preferred Qualifications SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, SPHR, or similar HR certification Strong knowledge of California employment practices and compliance HR experience within a sales, service, or performance-driven organization Experience supporting an organization with 100+ employees 401(k) administration and compliance experience Payroll oversight or payroll management experience Experience partnering directly with executive or financial leadership
