Santa Rosa, CA Job Details Part-time From $35 an hour 19 hours ago Benefits Health insurance Paid time off 401(k) matching Qualifications Spanish Full Job Description We are a family-owned construction company seeking an experienced Office & Human Resources Manager to oversee the day-to-day administrative functions of our business. This is a key position that works directly with the Owner and plays an essential role in supporting our employees, maintaining compliance, and keeping our office running efficiently. If you are highly organized, enjoy variety in your work, and have experience in construction administration, payroll, and human resources, we'd love to hear from you. What You'll Do As our Office Operations & Human Resources Manager, you'll oversee a wide range of administrative and compliance functions, including: Human resources, recruiting, onboarding, and employee records Weekly payroll administration and timekeeping Employee benefits and workers' compensation administration Certified payroll and prevailing wage reporting DIR and contractor compliance OSHA recordkeeping and safety documentation Contractor licensing, insurance certificates, and regulatory reporting Office operations, vendor coordination, and administrative support Assisting ownership with special projects and process improvements Qualifications The ideal candidate will have: 5+ years of progressively responsible office administration experience Experience with payroll and human resources Construction industry experience strongly preferred Knowledge of California employment laws and HR practices Experience with certified payroll, prevailing wage, or public works projects is highly desirable Experience with QuickBooks Desktop Payroll and Microsoft Office Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining confidentiality and attention to detail Bilingual Eng/Span is a plus Why Join Us?
