Bestop Aluminess LLC and Bestop MGP Caliper Covers LLC (MGP). Bestop Aluminess LLC (Aluminess) Located in Santee, CA, Aluminess is a leader in manufacturing aftermarket products for off-road and overlanding vehicles. MGP Caliper Covers are easy to install, safety-tested, OEM licensed and available with custom designs making them a popular choice among DIYers and professional installers alike. This role consists of day-to-day Human Resources, and you will be responsible to design, plan and implement HR programs / policies to support our manufacturing operations along with management teams.Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy
- Manage the recruitment and selection process
- Support current and future business needs through development, engagement, motivation, and preservation of human capital-employee relations
- Coordinate effective team building, company events and any other employee relation events.
- Maintain HR and employee confidentiality at all levels in concern to sensitive information, personnel files, HR team discussions, payroll and investigations
- Oversee and manage a performance appraisal system that drives high performance
- Administer Payroll, Worker's Compensation Insurance and benefits programs
- Maintain and retain employment and payroll records as mandated by State and Federal law
- Ensure legal compliance throughout human resource management
- Provide support to General Manager and Management towards business goals
Required Qualifications Education :
Bachelor's degree, preferably in human resource management SHRM certification preferredExperience and Skills :
3+ years Human Resources / Generalist experience. Effective problem solver and critical thinking skills Proven experience on HR functions within a manufacturing / distribution fast-paced industry. Demonstrated understanding and application of human resources management principles Strong knowledge of FMLA regulations and California labor laws Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations Experienced in talent management and development Proficiency in HRIS systems such as NetSuite and ADP Workforce Now Excellent program management skills Clear and effective communication, listening and writing skills on all levels of the organization. Ability to use Microsoft Office including WORD, Excel, PowerPoint- The ability to commute to Santee is required.
