At Misfits we support our customers and mission by embracing our core values of: Prioritizing our Customers Doing more with less Thinking Differently Respecting one another Moving deliberately and quickly Taking initiative and delivering About the role: The Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) partners with local Warehouse/Distribution Leaders to assist with the operations of the central region distribution network. The HRBP delivers on strategic initiatives for the business on all things team member related. The focus is on operational activities supporting team members and leaders of the assigned client group(s), such as employee relations, performance management, and ensuring compliance with appropriate local, state and federal regulations. In addition, the HRBP will facilitate key processes that drive company priorities such as workforce planning, talent management, change management, company culture, and transformation initiatives.
Responsibilities:
Serves as HR Point of Contact for exempt and nonexempt employees in their location or region. Responsible for aligning business objectives with HR solutions in the client groups they support. Providing guidance and input on warehouse business strategy. Form effective relationships with area warehouse leadership, department heads, managers, and team members. Resolving Employee Relations issues and providing HR guidance to employees and leaders. Mentor and coach FC/Distribution leadership. Analyze trends and KPIs in partnership with the HR Ops group to develop solutions, programs, and opportunities for FC efficiency Conduct effective, thorough, and objective investigations. Work closely with warehouse leadership to improve team member work relationships, increase morale, productivity and retention Leads professional development sessions for team members and people leaders within their regional line of business assigned. Partner with the talent acquisition team and hiring managers, employee engagement, total rewards, and payroll Acute knowledge of applicable Federal and State labor employment laws.
Skills and Qualifications:
Bilingual in English and Spanish (preferred) Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources or equivalent field (preferred) At least 3 years of Human Resources experience, including working knowledge of HR services (team member relations, labor relations, performance management, compensation, talent management and recruitment, organizational development, employment law) preferred SHRM-CP or PHR (preferred) Exceptional analytical, problem-solving skills, project management, collaboration, and matrix management skills Demonstrated proficiency in communication (written and verbal) HRIS systems (UKG Ready), Microsoft Office Suite, Google Suite Business acumen, ethical decision making, and relationship management skills
