Compensation:
$100,000 - $130,000 base salary + bonus

Full-Time Position Overview We are seeking a hands-on Human Resources Manager to lead all aspects of HR for a growing manufacturing organization. This is a high-impact role for an experienced HR professional who enjoys both strategic partnership and day-to-day execution. Reporting directly to executive leadership, the HR Manager will serve as the primary HR resource for the organization, supporting employees and managers across a variety of HR functions including employee relations, compliance, talent acquisition, performance management, compensation and benefits, and organizational development. This opportunity is ideal for someone who thrives in an autonomous environment, enjoys building processes, and is comfortable wearing multiple hats. Key ResponsibilitiesHuman Resources Operations & Compliance Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws, with a strong focus on California labor law Manage employee relations matters, investigations, and conflict resolution Maintain HR policies, procedures, and employee documentation Support workplace safety initiatives and compliance programs Advise leadership on HR best practices and risk mitigation Talent Acquisition & Onboarding Lead full-cycle recruiting efforts across multiple departments Partner with hiring managers to improve hiring processes and candidate quality Oversee onboarding and new hire integration Manage background checks, I-9 compliance, and employment documentation Employee Relations & Performance Management Coach managers on employee relations, performance concerns, and development opportunities Lead performance review processes and goal-setting initiatives Support employee engagement, retention, and recognition programs Foster a positive and productive workplace culture Compensation & Benefits Administer employee benefits programs and leave administration Support compensation planning, merit increases, and promotions Partner with benefit providers and brokers to ensure competitive offerings Strategic HR Leadership Partner with leadership on workforce planning and organizational growth Develop and improve HR processes, systems, and infrastructure Track and report key HR metrics and trends Identify opportunities to improve employee experience and operational efficiency QualificationsRequired 5+ years of progressive Human Resources experience Strong knowledge of California employment law and HR compliance Experience managing employee relations, investigations, and performance management Full-cycle recruiting experience Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities Preferred Manufacturing, distribution, or consumer products industry experience Multi-state HR experience SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, or SPHR certification
