Job Description

About the Role This is a 3 month contract role to cover leave, with possibility of conversion. This role is on site 5 days a week in Centennial. This role supports a dynamic executive team and fast‑moving organization that values maturity, confidence, humor, and independence. We are seeking someone who thrives in a high‑energy environment, navigates people challenges with ease, and can operate with minimal oversight. If you're a experienced HR/People leader who can balance tough conversations with a positive, team‑centric attitude—this is your role. Key Responsibilities Lead employee relations with confidence, including tough conversations, performance issues, and conflict resolution. Address day‑to‑day cultural challenges—including interpersonal dynamics—with fairness and neutrality. Provide consistent employee recognition and drive engagement initiatives that reinforce a positive culture. Support an executive team of six, including four high‑energy leaders who thrive in long, collaborative work sessions. Adapt quickly as priorities shift; stay flexible and responsive to emerging needs. Act independently with minimal supervision—especially while key leadership is traveling up to 50% of the time. Communicate effectively through various channels, including maintaining team morale via 'Dream Team' style messages. Maintain a sense of humor and operate with a lighthearted, team‑oriented approach while still bringing maturity and professionalism. What We're Looking For A experienced HR/People detail oriented with strong business maturity. Someone who can make confident decisions and does not apologize for holding boundaries (e.g., tough calls, terminating employees, enforcing policy). Skilled in conflict resolution and navigating sensitive interpersonal issues. Able to 'squirrel' with high‑energy leaders—meaning you can pivot, keep up, and actively engage in long meetings. Flexible, adaptable, and comfortable with shifting priorities throughout the day. Highly independent—comfortable working without micromanagement. A positive personality with a great sense of humor and the ability to 'run with the punches.' Engagement Details Contract arrangement with potential for conversion. Full‑time hours (~40 per week) with willingness to flex up slightly as needed.
Competitive compensation:
$120K-$160K, depending on experience.
