Robert Half is partnering with a growing company who is seeking an experienced HR & Payroll Manager to lead all human resources and payroll functions for a growing operations team. This is a hands-on role overseeing the full employee lifecycle, payroll accuracy, compliance, and HR processes that support a field-heavy workforce.
Key Responsibilities:
PayrollLead end-to-end biweekly payroll processing (multi-state)Audit timecards, manage overtime/per diem, and ensure complianceAdminister deductions (garnishments, benefits, retirement)Own year-end processes including W-2s and reconciliationsManage HRIS/payroll system (Paycom preferred) and reportingHR & ComplianceServe as primary contact for employee relations and investigationsEnsure compliance with federal and Colorado labor laws (FLSA, FMLA, ADA, FAMLI, COMPS, WAGES Act)Maintain audit-ready employee records and documentationManage workers' comp and OSHA reportingDevelop and enforce policies and proceduresTalent & OperationsLead full-cycle recruiting and onboarding/offboardingOversee performance evaluations and workforce planningAdminister benefits (health, dental, vision, SIMPLE IRA)Deliver reporting on headcount, turnover, and labor costsDrive process improvements and support auditsThis role is 100% in office.
