Job Description
Our client, a leading institutional investment manager, is seeking a Sr. Associate, Alternative Assets to join its growing investment team. This individual will play a key role in evaluating alternative investment opportunities, conducting manager due diligence, monitoring portfolio performance, and preparing investment recommendations across private equity, private credit, secondaries, co-investments, and other private market strategies. Our client, a leading institutional investment manager, is seeking a Sr. Associate, Alternative Assets to join its investment team. This role offers exposure across private equity, private credit, secondaries, co-investments, and other alternative investment strategies. Responsibilities
- Conduct due diligence on alternative investment managers and opportunities.
- Evaluate private market investments across a variety of asset classes.
- Prepare investment recommendations and supporting materials for internal committees.
- Monitor portfolio performance and manager activity.
- Assist with portfolio construction and allocation decisions.
- Build relationships with GPs, fund managers, and industry participants.
- Analyze market trends and emerging opportunities within private markets. Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in alternative investments, asset management, insurance investing, pensions, endowments, OCIOs, or fund-of-funds platforms.
- Experience conducting manager due diligence and evaluating private market investments.
- Strong understanding of private equity, private credit, and institutional investing.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and presentation skills.
