Job Description

Human Resources Manager Pendleton Rehabilitation & Nursing Center Mystic, CT Pendleton Rehabilitation & Nursing Center, a Skilled Nursing and Long-Term Care Facility , is seeking an experienced and dynamic Human Resources Manager to join our leadership team. This key role partners closely with administration and staff to foster a positive workplace culture, ensure regulatory compliance, and support the organization's mission through effective people strategies. The Human Resources Manager will play a vital role in building strong employee relationships, maintaining confidentiality, enhancing morale, and attracting, developing, and retaining staff.
Key Responsibilities Include:
Overseeing payroll and timekeeping processes utilizing the SBV System Managing and maintaining HRIS integrity using the Proliant System Ensuring accuracy and compliance with PBJ reporting requirements Leading recruitment and retention initiatives to support staffing goals Administering Leave of Absence requests, including FMLA and CTFMLA Coordinating and managing Workers' Compensation claims

The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, approachable, and knowledgeable in healthcare HR operations, with a passion for employee engagement and compliance excellence. Experience in a skilled nursing or healthcare environment is preferred. This is a full-time, Monday-Friday salaried position.
