The Shelton Public School system has a vacancy for aSUPERVISOR OF HUMAN RESOURCES
Under the direction and supervision of the Superintendent of Schools, the Supervisor of Human Resources is responsible for coordinating, administering and supporting the day-to-day human resources functions of the Shelton Public Schools. The Supervisor assists the Superintendent and district administrators in the implementation of personnel procedures, collective bargaining agreements, Board of Education policies and applicable state and federal employment requirements.Responsibilities and Duties:
Please see attached job description. This position reports directly to the Superintendent.Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university in human resources, business administration, public administration, education, organizational management or related field; A minimum of three years of progressively responsible experience in human resources, personnel administration, employee relations, school administration, municipal government, business, nonprofit administration or related field; SHRM certification preferred; Human Resources experience in a public school district, municipality or other public-sector organization; Knowledge of Connecticut employment statutes, collective bargaining requirements, educator certification procedures and public-sector personnel practices; Experience administering collective bargaining agreements and supporting grievance, investigation and employee-relations processes; Experience with Tyler/MUNIS or comparable human resources/payroll management systems.Start Date:
Immediate Terms of Employment:
Twelve (12) month position/40 hours per weekSalary Range:
$118,000- $128,500 commensurate with experience
