The Accommodations Point of Contact (POC) serves as the central resource for managing and supporting all medical and religious accommodation requests across the organization. This role acts as a subject matter expert and primary liaison, ensuring a consistent, compliant, and employee-centered approach to accommodations. The ideal candidate brings strong judgment, discretion, and the ability to navigate sensitive situations while maintaining confidentiality. This role requires close collaboration with employees, leadership, Human Resources, and Legal to facilitate the interactive process and determine appropriate, timely solutions. Key Responsibilities Serve as the primary point of contact for all accommodation-related requests, including medical and religious accommodations Lead and manage the interactive process in accordance with applicable laws and organizational policies Partner with HR, leadership, and Legal to evaluate requests and determine reasonable accommodations Ensure timely, consistent, and compliant handling of accommodation cases Facilitate sensitive and confidential conversations with empathy, professionalism, and discretion Maintain accurate documentation and case records related to accommodation requests Provide guidance and education to managers and employees on accommodation processes and expectations Identify trends, risks, and opportunities for process improvement within accommodation workflows Support the development and implementation of policies, procedures, and best practices related to accommodations Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (or equivalent experience) 5+ years of experience in Employee Relations, HR, or a related function Direct experience managing accommodation requests and the interactive process Strong understanding of applicable employment laws (e.g., ADA, Title VII) Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to handle sensitive situations Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise sound judgment Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously Preferred Qualifications Experience working in a highly regulated or complex organizational environment HR certification (e.g., SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, SPHR) Experience partnering closely with Legal teams on employee-related mattersSimilar remote jobs
