Job Description

HR Business Partner - Contract / Hybrid (Fractional | 1099) Company Overview We partner with private equity-backed and small to mid-sized organizations to deliver flexible, high-impact HR solutions. Our work focuses on building scalable HR processes, improving operations, and supporting growing teams. The Opportunity We are seeking a 1099 HR Business Partner to support a manufacturing client in a hybrid capacity. This is a hands-on role that combines day-to-day HR execution with support on broader HR initiatives. This position will work closely with leadership across all areas of HR, partnering closely with executive and plant leadership in a fast-paced environment. This role will support the business approximately 30-35 hours per week. What You'll Do Provide day-to-day HR support across employee relations, recruiting, and onboarding Own and execute core HR processes, including performance tracking, compliance, and documentation Process payroll, including reporting and reconciliations Support implementation of HR policies, procedures, and process improvements Partner with leadership across the organization on workforce needs (retention, attendance, shift workforce challenges) Ensure compliance with employment laws and company policies Support and coach managers on HR-related matters and employee issues What You Bring 5+ years of broad, hands-on HR experience Experience in manufacturing, distribution, or similar environment preferred Experience in private equity-backed environments preferred Strong working knowledge of payroll, compliance, and employee relations Comfortable working in a hands-on, execution-focused role Ability to work independently and manage priorities in a contract environment Strong communication and practical problem-solving skills

Pay:
