Position Summary:
As the Human Resources Leader at Edison National Bank, you will drive our team engagement strategy, fostering a high-performing and collaborative workplace. This is an individual contributor role responsible for all HR administration, including talent acquisition, employee engagement, benefits administration, compliance, and culture-building initiatives. This role partners closely with senior leadership to enhance employee experience, support business objectives, and uphold our commitment to a positive, professional, and compliant work environment.
Key Responsibilities:
HR Leadership Develop, implement, and oversee HR policies, programs, and best practices to support the Bank's strategic and operational goals. Ensure compliance with federal and state employment laws, regulations, and internal policies. Serve as a trusted advisor to Senior Management, offering confidential HR guidance. Talent Acquisition Lead the full-cycle recruitment process, ensuring a seamless candidate experience. Partner with department leaders to identify hiring needs and recruit top talent. Oversee new hire onboarding, including orientation and sharing the values of our "Better Way" customer service program. Support employee onboarding and performance management initiatives. Employee Engagement & Culture Foster a culture of employee recognition and support. Plan and execute employee engagement initiatives, team-building experiences, and appreciation events. Maintain an open-door policy to support employees' professional and personal well-being. Compensation, Benefits & Compliance Oversee payroll processing with accuracy and efficiency twice monthly. Administer employee benefits programs, including medical, 401(k), and wellness initiatives. Manage compliance efforts, including workers' compensation, COBRA, and employment law updates. Serve on the Compensation and 401(k) Committees, providing data-driven insights. HR Operations Maintain and update job descriptions, employee policies, and the Employee Handbook. Coordinate performance evaluations, salary benchmarking, and workforce analytics. Lead quarterly staff meetings, facilitating discussions on key HR initiatives. Maintain records, reports, and HR systems with accuracy and confidentiality.
Qualifications & Skills:
Proven experience in HR leadership, preferably within the banking or financial industry. Strong knowledge of HR best practices, employment law, and compliance requirements. Excellent interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills. Ability to foster a positive, collaborative, and high-performance work environment. Proficiency in HRIS systems, payroll processing, and data analysis. SHRM or HRCI certification is a plus. Why Join Edison National Bank?
