HR Manager, Employee Experience About the College of Medicine Human Resources Team The University of Florida College of Medicine Human Resources team supports a workforce of more than 5,000 faculty, staff, housestaff, postdoctoral associates, and graduate assistants across one of the nation's leading academic health centers. We serve as strategic advisors and partners to departments and leaders through specialized Centers of Expertise focused on employee relations, workforce strategy, benefits and employee experience, immigration, and HR operations. Our team is known for being collaborative, responsive, and service-oriented, providing consultative support throughout the employee lifecycle while helping employees and leaders navigate workforce challenges in a complex academic health environment. About the Role The HR Manager, Employee Experience serves as the operational leader for the College of Medicine Benefits & Employee Experience Center of Expertise (COE). The position provides management for employee benefits consultation, onboarding and offboarding programs, employee engagement initiatives, wellness programs, and other employee experience efforts across the College. The successful candidate will be passionate about employee service and relationship building. This role requires someone who enjoys helping others, can navigate complex situations with professionalism and empathy, and is committed to delivering a highly responsive, employee-centered experience. Strong knowledge of employee benefits, retirement programs, leave programs, and employee resources is essential. This position supervises Benefits & Employee Experience staff and partners closely with College leadership, HR Business Partners, Faculty Affairs, Graduate Medical Education (GME), UFHR, GatorCare, and other stakeholders to support employees throughout the employment lifecycle. Key Responsibilities Lead the College of Medicine Benefits & Employee Experience Center of Expertise (COE), providing operational oversight of employee-focused programs and services. Provide leadership and oversight for employee benefits consultation and workforce support services, ensuring employees receive individualized guidance and support during key employment and life events. Serve as a trusted resource for employees, leaders, and departments regarding benefits, retirement resources, leave programs, onboarding, offboarding, and employee support services. Partner with University Human Resources, GatorCare, retirement providers, and other stakeholders to assist employees in navigating available resources and connecting with appropriate subject matter experts. Supervise, coach, develop, and evaluate Benefits & Employee Experience team members. Lead employee engagement, wellness, recognition, appreciation, and workforce support initiatives across the College. Oversee onboarding and offboarding programs and processes designed to support employees throughout the employment lifecycle. Develop and implement employee communications, educational resources, and outreach initiatives that promote awareness and utilization of available programs and services. Monitor service metrics, dashboards, operational data, and employee feedback to identify opportunities for continuous improvement and enhanced service delivery. Evaluate and improve employee experience programs, communications, workflows, and operational processes. Collaborate with HR Business Partners, Faculty Affairs, Graduate Medical Education (GME), College leadership, and other stakeholders to support strategic workforce initiatives. Represent the College on university-wide committees, events, and initiatives related to employee experience, wellness, workforce support, and benefits education. Why Join This Role? EXPECTED SALARY

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's degree in an appropriate area and four years of relevant experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Demonstrated ability to provide exceptional customer service, navigate sensitive employee situations with professionalism and empathy, and build trusted relationships across all levels of an organization. Knowledge of employee benefits programs, retirement programs, leave programs, and employee resource offerings. Experience supporting employees through benefits-related questions, retirement resources, onboarding, workforce support services, or other significant employment and life events. Strong interpersonal, communication, consultation, and relationship management skills with the ability to effectively engage faculty, staff, trainees, leaders, and external partners. Supervisory and team leadership experience, including coaching, development, performance management, and workload prioritization. Experience leading employee engagement, recognition, wellness, onboarding, employee communications, employee support, or employee experience programs. Experience collaborating with University stakeholders, benefit providers, retirement vendors, and other internal and external partners. Experience utilizing data, service metrics, dashboards, reporting tools, or other operational measures to evaluate effectiveness and inform decision-making. Strong project management and organizational skills, including the ability to manage multiple priorities, lead initiatives, and drive continuous improvement efforts.
