YOU'LL DO
Responsibilities What you can expect on a typical day:- Deliver and Implement Sustainable HR Solutions. You will understand the business vision, values, strategy, and drivers and create a productive partnership to deliver sustainable HR solutions. You will support Business Unit HR and Corporate HR strategies and plans and ensure effective local implementation. You may also develop site-specific HR strategies to respond to changing business needs.
- Work Closely with Leaders.
- Leverage Data for Maximum Impact. You will use your analytical skills to leverage data from multiple sources to identify trends, measure impact, and drive informed decision-making. You will advocate for stakeholders by surfacing systemic issues and recommending improvements to HR programs, policies, or practices.
- Partner Internally. You will independently manage complex and sensitive associate relations matters, partnering with Employment Law and HR Centers of Excellence as appropriate.
- Problem Resolution. You will provide counsel and direction and/or directly handle employee relations cases. You will coach and consult with managers and associates on performance, terminations, sexual harassment, discrimination, etc. - interpreting and complying with all federal and state laws.
- Learner Programs. You will conduct and facilitate initial and reinforcement training with managers and associates on performance management, behavioral interviewing, etc. You may also conduct or facilitate training relating to associate and leadership development programs.
- Change & Program Management.
TO SUCCEED IN THIS ROLE
Required Qualifications- 5+ years of exempt generalist HR experience required A college degree is great but not required. What's more important is having the skills to do the job. If you don't have a college degree, other acceptable experiences could include:
- Experience noted above, OR
- Military experience where skills including teamwork, adaptability, organization, and follow-through will help you build team and client relationships, identify solutions, and achieve success.

Preferred Qualifications- HR Certification (e.g., SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, SPHR).
- Experience leading enterprise-wide initiatives or large-scale organizational change.
- Strong analytical and data-driven decision-making skills.
