This role is more than completing tasks or checking boxes. This person will help support the employee experience from the very beginning — from the first candidate conversation, to onboarding, to employee records, compliance follow-ups, and day-to-day People & Culture support. We're not just offering a job — we're offering an opportunity to be part of something bigger. The right person for this role will understand that People & Culture work matters because it directly impacts candidates, employees, managers, and the overall success of the organization. We are looking for someone who takes ownership, follows through, communicates clearly, and wants to be part of a team that values people, accountability, and continuous improvement. Our Core Values Our work is guided by three core values: People First We care about people and how they experience our company. In this role, People First means communicating with respect, being responsive, helping candidates and employees feel supported, and showing patience and professionalism in every interaction. Humble Excellence We believe in doing the work well while staying open to learning and improvement. In this role, Humble Excellence means being reliable, detail-oriented, teachable, and committed to producing quality work even in a busy or changing environment. Genuine Integrity We believe in doing the right thing, even when no one is watching. In this role, Genuine Integrity means protecting confidential information, documenting accurately, following through on commitments, and communicating honestly and professionally. Work Schedule Availability within 9:00 AM - 6:00 PM EST , with flexibility depending on recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, and operational needs. Compensation $800 per month What You Will Be Doing As the People & Culture Coordinator, you will help keep important HR processes organized, moving, and properly followed through. Your responsibilities will include but not limited to: Recruitment & Candidate Coordination Supporting recruitment for Florida regions. This includes job postings, candidate communication, interview scheduling, phone screenings, reference checks, employment verifications, and helping maintain a strong candidate pipeline. Onboarding & New Hire Experience Preparing and initiating onboarding, supporting new hire orientation with the People & Culture Manager, and helping ensure new hires are welcomed, informed, and prepared for their role. Employee Records & Compliance Support Maintaining accurate employee records in ClayHR, supporting weekly license audits, following up on pending or expired items, and helping keep employee files and documentation organized. Employee Relations & Documentation Support Assisting with employee relations matters in partnership with the People & Culture Manager, including documentation support, Employee Accountability forms, Employee Assessments, and appropriate follow-up. People & Culture Operations Support Supporting reports, trackers, audits, applicant inquiries, Operations meeting follow-ups, and other People & Culture projects that help keep the department organized and moving forward. Continuous Growth & Development Participating in monthly professional development and remaining open to learning, feedback, and process improvement. What We Are Looking For We are looking for a dependable, organized, and values-driven individual who can support People & Culture responsibilities with professionalism, care, and consistency. The ideal candidate is someone who demonstrates strong follow-through, clear communication, attention to detail, and good judgment. This person should be comfortable managing multiple priorities, handling confidential information, and supporting both candidates and employees with respect and professionalism. This role requires someone who can work independently while staying aligned with leadership, ask questions when clarity is needed, and remain calm and solution-focused when priorities shift. We are looking for someone who is open to feedback, committed to growth, and understands that People & Culture work requires both structure and heart. Who Will Succeed in This Role You will succeed in this role if you are someone who takes pride in being dependable, organized, and helpful. This role is a good fit for someone who enjoys supporting people, keeping processes on track, and contributing to a positive and professional employee experience. The right person will bring initiative, clear communication, follow-through, and a willingness to learn while supporting the ongoing needs of the People & Culture team. Qualifications At least 3 years of related HR, recruitment, administrative, or coordinator experience preferred. Experience with recruitment, onboarding, employee records, or HR support is strongly preferred. Familiarity with HRIS, applicant tracking systems, or employee recordkeeping systems is a plus. Strong Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, or related software skills. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Excellent attention to detail and follow-through. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision after training. Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Psychology, or a related field is preferred, but not required if the candidate has strong relevant experience. A Note to Applicants This role is for someone who wants to grow in People & Culture and understands that HR work requires both care for people and strong attention to detail. You will support recruitment, onboarding, employee records, compliance follow-up, employee relations support, and coordination with Operations. Because of this, we need someone dependable, organized, confidential, and consistent with follow-through. You do not need to know everything on day one, but you must be willing to learn, ask questions, communicate updates, and take ownership of your work. If you are people-centered, detail-oriented, responsive, and aligned with our values of People First, Humble Excellence, and Genuine Integrity , we would be happy to hear from you.
