The Human Resources Manager leads all HR operations within the community, ensuring recruitment, compliance, payroll, benefits and team member engagement meet or exceed Sunrise quality standards. This role partners closely with the Executive Director and department leaders to drive workforce excellence, regulatory compliance and a positive team member experience.
What You'll Do:
  • Lead full-cycle recruitment, hiring and onboarding processes
  • Provide guidance on team member relations, performance management and coaching
  • Oversee payroll processing, timekeeping and benefits administration
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state/provincial and company employment laws
  • Maintain personnel files, HRIS data and required postings
  • Manage workers' compensation and OSHA compliance initiatives
  • Monitor performance evaluations, merit increases and engagement planning
  • Support annual budgeting and labor management strategies
  • Deliver HR training and Sunrise University program oversight
  • Partner with leadership to drive retention, accountability and team success
What We're Looking For:
  • Bachelor's degree required
  • 3-5 years HR generalist experience (senior living, healthcare or hospitality preferred)
  • 3+ years supervisory/leadership experience
  • Strong knowledge of employment law and compliance practices
  • High integrity handling confidential information
  • Strong communication, organization and problem-solving skills

Employee Relations Pay Range:
