Eaze has built sophisticated logistics and technologies to provide fast, efficient delivery as well as retail products of a broad variety. We are on a mission to enhance safe access to legal cannabis, educate people about cannabis as a tool for wellness, and drive smart cannabis policies. Eaze is a direct-to-consumer cannabis retailer and technology platform operating nationally in CA, MI, CO, and FL. Job Summary The HRBP is responsible for the administration of HR policies, practices, and procedures throughout the Florida retail region. This role works directly with employees and is expected to represent and be committed to building a company culture inclusive of respect, ethics, and trust. The HRBP oversees all employee relation matters for the retail location across the state of Florida. This is a salaried exempt position reporting to the Vice President of Human Resources. Responsibilities Responds to issues at locations regarding Human Resources questions and inquiries; conducts investigations and provides comprehensive resolution. Tracks and records training procedures' completion for all employees on compliance aspects of harassment, safety, state and/or federal medical reporting regulations, code of conduct, and the employee handbook Ensures all federal and state applicable laws are followed within the workplace as well as Leaves of Absences, workplace accommodations, and workers compensation for employees Ensures compliance with EEOC and any or all diversity, equality, and inclusion laws General knowledge of company insurance policies (General Liability, Health, Auto, Worker's Compensation etc.) and can assist with answering questions from employees and vendors as needed Researches and handles special projects as assigned Enters data and updates records in the HRIS and maintains employee record filing Assists with administrative support to include updating shared drives, monitoring assigned inboxes, and ordering required material or supplies related to HR Assist the with incoming and outgoing mail from and to governmental agencies, pertaining to garnishments, wage verifications, etc. Prepares periodic reports for management Other duties and responsibilities as assigned Qualifications Undergraduate degree and or equivalent work experience; preferred and a minimum of 3-5 years administration experience; PHR nice to have Must have 2-4 year's Operations / multi-unit experience Interpersonal and people skills to provide excellent customer service, in-person, through email, and by telephone Ability to work autonomously and maintain complete confidentiality Excellent ability to prioritize and manage time efficiently Works with and embraces diverse work groups Shows initiative, creativity, and exercises sound judgment Is organized, detailed, and excellent at managing resources, data, and time Maintains professionalism Ability to work flexible hours typically all-day shifts with some evenings or weekends on occasion Experienced computer skills, MS Office 365, Excel, Power Point, Word, Outlook, Google, and Calendars The job description is not an all-inclusive list of duties performed, but rather a reflection of typical work performed in that position.
