Human Resources Manager Help Build a Workplace Where Employees Thrive and Residents Receive Exceptional Care A respected long-term care organization is seeking an experienced Human Resources Manager to support our team members, strengthen employee engagement, and help foster a positive workplace culture. This role is ideal for an HR professional who enjoys partnering with leaders, supporting employees, and making a meaningful impact in a healthcare setting. What You'll Do Partner with department leaders on employee relations, performance management, and staffing initiatives. Provide guidance on HR policies, employment practices, and workplace concerns. Lead recruitment efforts, including interviewing, hiring, and onboarding new team members. Manage employee benefits administration and assist staff with benefit-related questions. Oversee leave administration, including FMLA, workers' compensation, unemployment, and other employee leave programs. Ensure personnel files and HR records are accurate, organized, and compliant. Support employee recognition, engagement, and retention programs. Coach managers on performance concerns, corrective action, and employee development. Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws. Contribute to a positive, team-focused environment that supports quality resident care. Qualifications Minimum of 2 years of Human Resources experience. Minimum of 2 years of healthcare experience required. Long-term care, skilled nursing, or post-acute care experience preferred. Strong knowledge of HR practices, employment laws, and employee relations. Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
