Overview Of The Human Resources Manager Role The Human Resources Manager will provide full‑cycle HR leadership and serve as a key strategic partner to the Senior Human Resources Director. This individual will support both day‑to‑day HR operations and long‑term organizational initiatives aimed at strengthening culture, talent development, and business performance. Responsibilities Of The Human Resources Manager The Human Resources Manager will: Serve as a strategic HR advisor to senior leadership by aligning people strategies with business objectives, supporting organizational change, and ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws. Lead complex employee relations matters, including conducting thorough investigations, guiding corrective actions and performance management, preparing investigation summaries, and proactively identifying risks and mitigation strategies. Design, develop, and facilitate enterprise‑wide training and leadership development programs, such as mentoring, scenario‑based ER training, Management 101, interviewing & selection, and conflict‑resolution workshops. Drive workforce planning and talent development initiatives, including succession planning, career pathing, talent reviews, and building internal talent pipelines. Champion employee engagement and promote a positive workplace environment by supporting inclusion initiatives, developing engagement plans, interpreting HR policies, and implementing strategies to maintain a union‑free environment. Minimum Qualifications Of The Human Resources Manager The Human Resources Manager should have: A bachelor's degree (required); a master's degree and SHRM‑CP/SCP or HRCI certification are strongly preferred. At least 8 years of progressive HR experience. Proficiency with HRIS platforms and talent management systems. Intermediate proficiency in Excel.
