Duties Partner with Operational Leaders to ensure needs are met, performance goals are set, and teammates are developed and empowered to succeed. Partner with hiring managers to attract, interview, and onboard great people who align with our values and bring strong skills and passion to the team. Lead engaging new hire orientations, deliver recognition programs, and strengthen our culture of appreciation. Provide guidance in core HR programs including compensation, benefits, leave, performance, and development, always with a focus on fairness, transparency, and care. Listen with empathy, solve challenges, and provide proactive guidance on people-related matters. Support investigations, ensure compliance, and uphold our commitment to respect and fairness. Foster a high-performance, values-driven, learning-focused environment where teammates thrive personally and professionally. Ensure compliance with all labor laws and regulations, maintaining and updating policies according to current legislative requirements. Maintain personnel records, oversee HR audits, and implement corrective actions when necessary. People Experience & Engagement Execute an outstanding team member experience from payroll to benefits, establishing our brand as an employer of choice. Champion a consistent and compelling employee experience from onboarding to offboarding. Demonstrate expertise in overseeing payroll and HRM tools and technology, optimizing payroll and benefits efficiency and effectiveness. Collaborate with members of the People Experience Team and serve as a trusted advisor to leaders and employees on policies, programs, and practices. Drive the execution of an innovative, cost-effective people engagement and experience plan, leveraging HRM and data tools to drive insights, automation, and scalability. People Operations & Partnership Serve as a trusted advisor to managers and employees on policies, programs, and practices. Foster a positive, inclusive workplace culture through payroll and benefits initiatives, recognition programs, and open communication channels. Partner with leaders across the organization to drive a consistent and people-first approach. Maintain personnel records, oversee HR audits, and implement corrective actions when necessary. Required Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities) Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. In-depth knowledge of employment law, labor regulations, and best practices in HR management. Proficiency with HRIS systems, payroll software, and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Strong analytical and critical thinking skills, with the ability to leverage data in decision-making. Commitment to people-centered leadership and continuous improvement. Excellent communication and people skills, able to build trust and rapport with employees at all levels. Strong leadership and team-management abilities, capable of motivating and developing staff. Exceptional organizational and multitasking skills, with attention to detail and follow-through.
Required Years of Experience:
3-5 years of progressive experience in HR roles, with at least 2+ years in an HR capacity. Preferred Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities) Prior experience partnering with operational or field-based teams in a logistics, warehousing, or distribution environment. Certificates, Licenses, and Registrations Professional HR certification (e.g., PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP, or
SHRM-SCP
) preferred; not required for this role.
