Human Resources & Payroll Manager Blue Terra Management Meridian, ID Job Details Part-time $30 - $40 an hour 2 hours ago Benefits Paid time off Qualifications Hiring Attention to detail Recruiting Process management Time management Full Job Description About Us Blue Terra Management (BTM) is a growing RV resort management company overseeing multiple properties across Idaho, Oregon, and Washington. As we continue expanding, we're looking for an experienced Human Resources & Payroll Manager to build and oversee our HR processes while supporting employees across multiple locations. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys creating structure, improving processes, and wearing multiple hats in a growing company. Position Summary The Human Resources & Payroll Manager will oversee all aspects of payroll administration and human resources while ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws across multiple states. This individual will serve as the primary HR resource for employees and management while helping develop policies and procedures that support continued company growth. Responsibilities Human Resources Manage full-cycle onboarding and offboarding Prepare offer letters and new hire paperwork Maintain employee personnel files and HR records Develop and maintain employee handbook, policies, and procedures Administer PTO and leave requests Assist managers with employee relations and performance documentation Coordinate disciplinary actions and terminations when necessary Ensure compliance with employment laws and company policies Assist with recruiting and hiring efforts Manage unemployment claims and employment verifications Coordinate benefits administration and employee enrollments Serve as the primary HR point of contact for employees Payroll Process payroll accurately and on time Audit timesheets and payroll data Maintain employee payroll records Coordinate payroll changes including raises, bonuses, deductions, and benefit elections Ensure compliance with wage and hour laws across multiple states Work closely with accounting regarding payroll reporting and reconciliations Compliance & Administration Maintain HR compliance across Idaho, Oregon, and Washington Track required labor law postings and documentation Assist with workers' compensation administration Maintain confidentiality of employee information Recommend and implement process improvements Support leadership with HR reporting and organizational initiatives Qualifications 3+ years of Human Resources experience preferred Payroll processing experience required Knowledge of multi-state employment laws preferred Experience with HRIS and payroll software Strong organizational and time management skills Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities High attention to detail and accuracy Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel Preferred Qualifications Experience supporting multiple business locations Experience developing HR policies and employee handbooks SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, or similar certification is a plus What We're Looking For We're looking for someone who is proactive, organized, and enjoys building systems that help both employees and management succeed.
