This position requires human resource functions which includes, but is not limited to, providing guidance to the human resource operations: Being responsible for setting, enforcing, and evaluating legally compliant human resources policies, procedures, and best practices and identifying and implementing long range strategic goals. Reports to :
Superintendent Preferred Qualifications :
Master's Degree in Educational Leadership or Human Resources Minimum of 5 years experience Demonstrate working knowledge of current technology and related software applications Strong oral and written communications skills Self-starter/Self motivated Works well independently and on a team Must meet deadlines Good customer service Must foster and maintain positive and effective working relationships Interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form SHRM-CP or p
HCLE Essential Duties and Responsibilities :
Confidentiality Maintains knowledge of laws, regulations, and best practices in employment law Manage recruitment and termination of employees Ensures compliance with employment, benefits, insurance, safety, and other laws, regulations, and requirements. Participates in professional development and networking conferences and events Drafts and implements the budget for the human resource department Provides guidance and resources to all district administrators Maintains and updates the employee evaluation technology system Monitors the implementation of union contracts Responsible for listening to employee concerns, conducting investigations, and recommending appropriate consequences if necessary. Responsible for the updating and maintaining job descriptions Maintaining employee records Development and updating of Human Resource manual
Salary/Benefits:
$90,000-$125,000 15 Sick Days 3 Personal Days 20
Vacation Days Physical Demands :
Sitting for long periods of time; light lifting; working on the computer for extended periods of time
