Job Description

Job Overview Com-Pac International, a mid-west located and highly progressive manufacturer of flexible packaging products for the medical and food service industries, has an immediate opening for a dynamic Human Resources Manager. We are seeking a dynamic and strategic Human Resources Manager to lead our HR department and foster a thriving, engaged workforce. In this pivotal role, you will oversee all aspects of human resources management, including acquisition of direct production and administrative staff, employee relations, benefits administration and compliance. Your energetic leadership will drive organizational success by implementing innovative HR strategies, managing change effectively, and ensuring a positive work environment that aligns with our company values. This position offers an exciting opportunity to shape our human capital management practices and contribute to our long-term growth. Duties Lead employee acquisition efforts by developing sourcing strategies, managing applicant tracking systems, and conducting interviews to attract and retain long-term employees. Oversee employee onboarding and orientation programs to ensure seamless integration of new hires into the organization. Manage employee evaluation processes, performance management systems, and training & development initiatives to promote continuous growth. Administer benefits programs, including health insurance, workers' compensation, and retirement plans using platforms like ADP. Ensure compliance with employment & labor law, OSHA standards, and affirmative action planning requirements across all operations. Handle employee relations issues with effective conflict management techniques while fostering a positive organizational culture. Develop and implement HR policies related to contracts, workforce management, organization design, and succession planning. Support change management initiatives by leading projects that improve organizational structure and processes. Maintain accurate data entry for HR records and manage HR sourcing strategies to meet staffing needs efficiently. Monitors and ensures the organization's compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and recommended best practices; reviews and modifies policies and practices to maintain compliance. Maintains knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources, talent management, and employment law; applies this knowledge to communicate changes in policy, practice, and resources to upper management. Pay:
$65,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
