Job Description
- Manages the talent acquisition process, which may include recruitment, attending job fairs, posting positions on job platforms, reviewing candidate applications and resumes, scheduling and performing interviews, background, and reference checks, and hiring and onboarding of qualified job applicants.
- Collaborates with department managers to understand skills and competencies required for openings. Develops and maintains up-to-date job descriptions and requirements for all positions in the organization.
- Creates and implements training and workforce development programs and initiatives that provide opportunities to nurture employee growth and skill enhancement.
- Oversees employee disciplinary actions, terminations, and investigations following company guidelines and legal prerequisites.
- Maintains compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and recommended best practices; actively reviews policies and practices to maintain compliance.
- Coordinates, manages, and implements safety program committee and initiatives.
- Audits payroll and benefits reports; assists employees with benefits questions, claims, and workman's compensation issues, acting as a liaison between employees and benefits providers.
- Initiates and facilitates a timely annual performance review process; performs reviews and/or assists department managers and supervisors as needed.
- Actively plans, coordinates, and participates in quarterly staff meetings and other company events.
- Oversees benefits administration including 401k program and health insurance. Plans and manages annual open enrollment meetings and reminders in a timely manner; coordinates onsite meetings, handouts, and benefits presentation overview at each facility.
- Communicates and shares relevant company/employee information via email, social media, and bulletin boards.
- Performs other duties as assigned.

- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Word/Excel/PowerPoint/Outlook/Teams), Adobe Acrobat, and Paylocity.
- Proficiency with or the ability to quickly learn the organizations HRIS and talent management systems or other ERP software as needed.
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or relevant experience.
- A minimum of three years of human resource management experience in a manufacturing environment.

- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Must be able to lift 15 pounds at times.
- Must be able to access and navigate each department at the organization's facilities.
