Job Description
Essential Functions:
- Maintain personnel files.
- Conduct new hire orientation and administer benefits.
- Assist in answering employee questions or concerns.
- Ensure that payroll is accurately prepared and reported to the corporate office at the designated time.
- Process/file workers compensation claims.
- Respect and maintain confidentiality of the office, the records, and restricted information.
- Understand roll in the safety and disaster plan.
- Recommend procedures to reduce absenteeism and turnover.
- Oversee performance review program to ensure effectiveness, compliance, and equity within organization.
- Approve and monitor employee counseling, disciplinary actions, and performance improvement plans.
- Suggest and implement training opportunities.
- Participate in the Manager On-Duty program.
- Attend various community events.
- Attend all required training, in-service, and staff meetings.
- Strive to maintain a safe working environment through the prevention of accidents, the preservation of equipment, and the achievement of safe working practices.
- Maintain a positive and professional demeanor toward residents, visitors, families, and co-workers.
- Adhere to all policies and procedures of Senior Lifestyle Corporation.
Qualifications Qualifications/Skills/Educational Requirements:
Level of Formal Education:
An Associate's Degree (A.A) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experienceArea of Study:
Human Resources, Psychology or Business preferred.Years of Experience:
