Job Description

Human Resources Manager Freedom Behavioral Health Solutions is a growing network of behavioral health clinics providing compassionate and innovative care through psychiatric medication management, therapy, Spravato®, and other advanced treatment options. With clinics across multiple states and continued expansion planned, Freedom is seeking a Human Resources Manager to support our growing team and help ensure a strong organizational foundation. The Human Resources Manager will oversee day-to-day HR operations including recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, compliance, benefits administration, and HR process management. This role will work closely with executive leadership and local Practice Managers to support employees, maintain compliance, and help build systems that support Freedom's continued growth. Key Responsibilities Recruitment & Talent Acquisition Coordinate recruitment for clinical and administrative positions including Psychiatrists, Nurse Practitioners, Therapists, Medical Assistants, administrative support and Practice Managers Develop and maintain job descriptions and position requirements Manage job postings across recruiting platforms and professional networks Screen candidates and coordinate interviews with leadership and local Practice Managers Conduct reference checks and assist with preparation of employment offers Maintain a pipeline of qualified candidates to support staffing needs and future clinic expansion Employee Onboarding & Offboarding Manage onboarding of all new employees including employment documentation, benefits enrollment, and orientation coordination Work with local Practice Managers and department leaders to ensure smooth onboarding experiences Ensure completion of required employment documentation and maintain employee personnel files Coordinate employee offboarding including exit interviews and separation documentation HR Compliance & Policy Management Maintain and update employee handbook and HR policies Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local labor laws across all Freedom locations Track required employee trainings and maintain documentation Assist with HR documentation needed for audits, payer reviews, and regulatory oversight Support leadership with workplace investigations and employee relations matters when needed Employee Relations & Culture Serve as a resource for employees and managers regarding HR-related questions and concerns Support managers in addressing workplace issues and performance concerns Assist with performance improvement plans and employee documentation when needed Develop employee engagement initiatives with local Practice Managers Coordinate employee recognition programs with local Practice Managers, including service anniversaries and staff appreciation initiatives Performance Management Assist in implementing standardized employee performance review processes Support managers in conducting employee evaluations and documenting performance discussions Help identify employee development opportunities and advancement pathways Benefits Administration Manage employee benefits programs including health insurance, retirement plans, and other benefit offerings Coordinate annual open enrollment and employee benefits communication Serve as a point of contact for employee benefit questions Work with benefit brokers and vendors to maintain competitive benefit offerings Payroll & HR Systems Coordination Coordinate employee information with payroll and accounting teams Maintain accurate employee records within HR systems Track employee leave, PTO usage, and employment status changes Ensure proper employee classification and employment documentation Workforce Planning Support Assist leadership with staffing needs related to organizational growth Help coordinate hiring for new clinic locations and service expansions Support organizational structure development as Freedom continues to expand Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred 3-5 years of Human Resources experience, preferably within healthcare or multi-location organizations Knowledge of employment law and HR compliance requirements Experience supporting recruiting and onboarding for healthcare or clinical roles preferred Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive employee matters with professionalism
Pay:
$60,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
