Director of Human Resources Job Responsibilities:
Develop and implement HR strategies that align with business objectives.
Oversee recruiting, workforce planning, onboarding, employee relations, performance management, compensation, benefits, and HR systems.
Lead, mentor, and develop the HR team.
Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and company policies.
Manage employee relations, leave administration, workers' compensation, and other HR programs.
Support organizational development, leadership training, employee engagement, and company culture.
Partner with leadership on workforce planning, organizational growth, and HR initiatives.
Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (or equivalent professional experience).
Minimum of 8 years of progressive HR experience, including at least 3 years in an HR leadership role.
Experience supporting multi-location or field-based operations.
Strong knowledge of federal and multi-state employment laws, including FMLA, ADA, and workers' compensation.
Proven leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism and discretion.
Preferred Qualifications:
SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, or SPHR certification.
Experience in construction, field services, manufacturing, or another multi-site operational environment.
Experience building or expanding HR programs and processes.
Bilingual (English/Spanish).
