Job Description

Job Overview The Human Resources Manager provides guidance and administers all aspects of human resources as well as assuring company compliance and reporting required reports to management and federal/state agencies. In addition to being the main contact person with all functions as it relates to human resource activities which includes the procedures and processes. Responsibilities include : Manage the recruitment from work force planning and job posting to assist with the screening, interviewing and onboarding of an employee Serves as a primary liaison between management and staff addressing grievances/complaints, mediating disputes and fostering a positive work environment Ensuring compliance on HR procedures adhere to local, state, and federal employment laws (FMLA, ADA, EEOC, etc.,) Track key HR metrics (new employees, turnover), to provide data-driven recommendations to leadership Assist with the Benefits Manager to Administer employee benefits in all company operations up to and including: medical, dental, vision, life insurance, temporary disability programs, flexible spending accounts and other programs that may be developed. Assist with the Benefit Manager to develop, recommend, and installs approved, new, or modified plans and employee benefits policies and supervises administration of existing plans in partnership with the benefits manager Assist with the Benefit Manager to administer and coordinate self-funded health plan activities, including working with third-party administrators, stop-loss carriers, pharmacy benefit vendors, brokers, and other benefits partners. Assures company compliance with provisions of ERISA (employee retirement income security act) and ACA (affordable care act), COBRA, HIPAA, Section 125 plans, and other applicable federal and state employee benefit regulations. Supervises reports and applications required by law to be filed with the federal and state agencies Assist with the Benefit Manager to coordinate and manage Open Enrollment activities, employee communications, benefits education, and enrollment processes for all benefits plans. Maintains effective working relationships with healthcare providers, insurance carriers, third-party administrators, vendors, employees, and beneficiaries to facilitate benefit administration when needed Additional Job Functions include Must have the ability to work in a team environment and maintain regular attendance Must have excellent organizational and communication skills both oral and written Must possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy. Must be proficient in Microsoft Excel, including the ability to analyze data, perform reconciliations, identify discrepancies, and prepare reports. Must be comfortable learning and utilizing HRIS, payroll, benefits administration, and other business systems. Must be able to work overtime as business need dictates Must have a good memory, understand numerical data, and have good reading skills Must have ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities simultaneously. Business acumen, communication consultation, critical evaluation, cultural awareness, HR experience, leadership & navigation, relationship management and ethical practices are all beneficial. : High School Diploma or GED Bachelor's degree preferred. Three (3) or more years of experience in human resources, business management, payroll, insurance, or a related field. Equivalent combinations of education and experience may be considered. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation. Strong computer skills required, including Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, and experience working with HRIS, payroll, benefits administration, or similar business systems.
Pay:
$40,000.00 - $52,000.00 per year
