Overview:
Provides human resources services to include recruitment, employee relations, onboarding, employee engagement, benefit and salary administration and payroll/timekeeping processing
SUMMARY OF ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
Demonstrates and understands the importance of and respect for the rights, dignity and individuality of each patient in all interactions. Manages the talent acquisition process, to include sourcing, recruitment, interviewing, and hiring of qualified job applicants. Develops and implements recruitment and retention strategies utilizing a variety of methods such as social media, job boards, college recruitment, and accessing community resources. Serves as liaison to area colleges and universities. Provides regional recruitment support to other facilities to maximize recruitment strategies. Conducts employee relations investigations and takes appropriate action based on findings. Prepares and delivers corrective action process to include disciplinary action and terminations. Performs tasks required to administer and execute human resource programs including but not limited to compensation/ salary determinations, leaves of action and productivity. On-site management of learning management system to include new hire and annual competencies as well as ad hoc educational assignments. Responds to unemployment claims and represents employer in related hearings Prepares bi-weekly payroll to include time management, ensuring employees are paid correctly and ensuring accuracy of benefit deductions Completes onboarding process for new hires including conducting background checks, coordinates pre-employment screens and completion of regulatory requirements. Ensures information is submitted to corporate payroll services. Responsible for developing and delivering new employee general orientation and coordinates clinical orientation with appropriate clinical leaders. Serves as on-site point person for staff reductions, conducts RIF meetings with CEO. Performs general benefits administration to include communicating enrollment process for new hires and coordinating annual open enrollment, ensures deduction changes are submitted in a timely manner. Ensures deductions for employee benefits and retirement are accurate and uploaded in the payroll system. Serves as on-site coordinator for the CHC wellness program. Manages employee engagement activities to include annual employee satisfaction survey, quarterly town hall meetings, staff celebrations and Hospital Week. Coordinates nomination process for Wilford Award Manages annual performance evaluation process and processes merit increases Implements company-wide personnel policies and procedures Responsible for maintaining OSHA and completes annual submissions according to federal guidelines and deadlines. Reports injuries/incidents to workers compensation carrier and coordinates return to work activity. Working with clinical leadership, develops targeted safety training based on claims data. Serves as point of contact for Leave Administration and monitors approved leaves Ensure compliance with Federal and state laws pertaining to human resources. Responsible for establishing confidential personnel files. Serves as custodian of records. Serves as Subject Matter Expert (SME) and Super User for HR systems to include UKG, Scheduler and HealthStream. Serves as IT liaison between regional facilities, host hospital and
