Job Description

JOB DUTIES
Manage and supervise all human resources functions, including recruiting, benefits administration, payroll processing, training and development, and employee relations, while ensuring compliance with all applicable federal and state employment laws. Direct plant activities to maintain positive employee relations and promote strong team member morale. Conduct investigations of employee complaints in accordance with company policies and applicable laws. Resolve issues in a timely manner while maintaining appropriate documentation. Assist managers and supervisors with employee relations matters, including disciplinary actions. Maintain and enhance the onboarding program for new team members to ensure a smooth transition into the workforce and a thorough understanding of company policies, procedures, processes, and safety requirements. Ensure all onboarding and training records are properly documented and retained. Maintain and enhance human resources and safety policies, procedures, and the employee handbook to ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations. Ensure all team members receive appropriate training and acknowledgment of such policies. Maintain and enhance the performance evaluation program for all team members to ensure fair, consistent, and objective performance assessments, alignment with organizational goals, and identification of employee development and succession planning opportunities. Maintain and enhance the wage survey program for all company positions to ensure competitive market positioning, internal pay equity, and alignment with the company's compensation budget and business objectives. Manage and oversee plant safety programs to ensure compliance with all applicable federal and state OSHA regulations. Ensure all required safety training is completed, documented, and retained. Lead or oversee investigations of workplace accidents, injuries, and safety concerns. Serve as the management representative and coordinate administration of the
ISO 14001
Environmental Management System, ensuring ongoing compliance and continuous improvement. Support company in QCD efforts to achieve our company goals. Support operations in providing a safe work environment ensuring that all applicable regulatory requirements and proper 5S are met and followed in pursuit of company goal of 0 accidents. Perform other duties as assigned.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Requires a bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business or related field. Minimum of 5-7 years in human resources management experience. 3 years' experience in a manufacturing environment. Minimum two (2) years safety management experience required. HRIS experience required, preferably Paycom. Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
