We are seeking an experienced HR professional to support our workforce, strengthen HR operations, and maintain consistent employment and regulatory compliance. The HR Manager manages day-to-day HR administration, employee relations, benefits, compliance, onboarding, offboarding, and employee records. This hands-on role requires strong organization, sound judgment, confidentiality, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced, multi-entity environment. Key Responsibilities Develop, maintain, communicate, and consistently enforce HR policies and procedures. Monitor federal, state, and local employment law requirements and support ongoing compliance. Coordinate onboarding, new-hire documentation, orientation, background checks, and drug screening. Manage employee offboarding, exit documentation, company property returns, and benefits transitions. Maintain accurate employee records, personnel files, I-9s, medical records, and HRIS data. Maintain current employee rosters across company locations and assignments. Coordinate workers' compensation and unemployment claims, documentation, and follow-up. Support payroll data accuracy and coordination with ADP. Administer employee benefits, including enrollment, qualifying life events, open enrollment, and employee questions. Support employee relations, workplace investigations, performance management, conflict resolution, and progressive discipline. Coordinate random and pre-employment drug-testing programs. Support third-party compliance platforms such as ISNetworld, Avetta, Veriforce, and similar systems. Conduct HR compliance reviews and support client, regulatory, and third-party audits. Prepare HR reports and maintain accurate documentation for leadership. Required Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field; equivalent experience considered. 3+ years of HR generalist experience. Working knowledge of employment laws including FLSA, FMLA, ADA, Title VII, and EEO requirements. HRIS experience; ADP experience strongly preferred . Strong organizational, communication, and documentation skills. Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism. Proficiency in Microsoft Office/Microsoft 365, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and SharePoint. Preferred HR experience in industrial services, energy, construction, or another safety-sensitive industry. Experience with ISNetworld or similar compliance platforms. Experience with DOT and non-DOT drug and alcohol testing programs. PHR, SHRM-CP, or similar HR certification.
