Full-Time Position Overview Cadence of Acadiana is seeking a hands-on, results-driven Human Resources Director to lead and execute all HR functions across the organization. This role balances strategic leadership with day-to-day execution, ensuring HR systems are not only developed—but consistently followed. Based in Lafayette, Louisiana, this role supports two satellite offices, with occasional travel required. This position is designed to support organization-wide growth across all locations. The HR Director will work in strong partnership with Executive Leadership and the Accounting Department, serving as a key operational and strategic resource to the organization. This individual must possess exceptional communication skills, sound judgment, professionalism, and the ability to collaborate effectively with executive management, staff, and agency partners. This role requires someone who can build trust, maintain accountability, communicate effectively across all levels of the organization, and operate as a reliable partner in organizational decision-making and workforce management. Core Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute HR strategies aligned with organizational goals
  • Manage full-cycle HR operations (recruitment, onboarding, performance management, offboarding)
  • Work closely with Executive Leadership and Accounting on payroll, benefits, budgeting, compliance, and organizational planning
  • Implement and enforce performance management systems
  • Lead employee relations, conflict resolution, and disciplinary processes
  • Ensure clear, professional, and effective communication with staff, executive leadership, and agency partners
  • Support organizational structure, accountability, and workforce development initiatives
  • Identify training needs and support staff and leadership development
  • Supervise and manage up to 4 administrative staff members
  • Travel occasionally to satellite offices as needed Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (Master's preferred)
  • Minimum of 5 years of HR experience, including leadership and hands-on responsibilities
  • Experience in nonprofit, healthcare, or social services preferred
  • Strong knowledge of HR compliance and employment law
  • Experience working closely with executive leadership and accounting/finance teams
  • Strong interpersonal communication, conflict resolution, and organizational skills
  • Ability to maintain professionalism, discretion, and confidentiality in sensitive situations
Pay:
$45,000.00 - $52,000.00 per year
