    Role:
    Partner with leaders and employees across the organization to help VulcanForms scale its People function and build strong, effective teams. This hands-on role combines strategic partnership with practical execution, including manager coaching, employee relations, organizational planning, talent development, and the creation of scalable People processes. The Lead People Partner will serve as a trusted advisor who helps leaders address challenges, improve team effectiveness, and create a strong employee experience.
    Key Responsibilities:
    • Serve as the People Partner for assigned business units or shared-services functions
    • Develop a deep understanding of business goals, organizational priorities, talent needs, and operational challenges
    • Build trusted relationships with leaders and employees across all levels of the organization
    • Proactively identify people, team, and organizational needs
    • Coach leaders and managers on performance management, feedback, employee development, and team effectiveness
    • Help managers become stronger and more confident people leaders
    • Guide leaders in addressing performance and employee-related issues promptly and effectively
    • Lead employee-relations and performance matters with sound judgment, empathy, consistency, and discretion
    • Identify patterns and root causes and determine when matters should be resolved independently or escalated
    • Partner with leaders on workforce planning, organization design, team effectiveness, talent development, retention, succession planning, and organizational change
    • Build a strong employee experience through a visible and accessible onsite presence
    • Develop relationships with hourly and salaried employees across roles, levels, and work environments
    • Listen to employee feedback, identify improvement opportunities, and partner with leaders on solutions
    • Build, improve, and implement practical, scalable People processes and programs
    • Create structure where processes or ownership are evolving, while avoiding unnecessary bureaucracy
    • Simplify, standardize, automate, and continuously improve how People-related work is performed
    • Partner closely with People Operations and other People team members to provide coordinated support
    • Establish clear ownership across the People function and improve team operating practices
    • Use data, technology, and emerging tools, including AI where appropriate, to improve efficiency, decision-making, and employee experience
    • Operate with a high degree of ownership in a fast-changing environment
    • Take initiative, follow through on commitments, and balance strategic thinking with hands-on execution
    Qualifications:
    • Seven-plus years of progressive HR experience, including significant experience as an HR Business Partner, People Partner, or similar role
    • Experience supporting both salaried and hourly employee populations
    • Strong employee-relations experience and practical knowledge of employment laws and workplace practices
    • Sound judgment regarding when to resolve complex matters independently and when to escalate them
    • Demonstrated ability to coach and influence leaders and managers through performance, employee-relations, organizational, and other complex People challenges
    • Experience building or improving HR processes in a growing or changing organization
    • Ability to create structure and clarity when processes or ownership are still evolving
    • Strong business judgment and relationship-building skills
    • Ability to build trust, communicate candidly, and influence leaders a Active Filters
