POSITION OVERVIEW
The Human Capital Business Partner (HCBP) for Business Operations serves as a strategic advisor and consultant to the Business Operations leadership team, with a particular focus on Finance related functions, aligning business objectives with employee and organizational needs. This role provides expert guidance on talent management, workforce planning, performance optimization, organizational effectiveness, and change management to drive business results. The HCBP is a key link between HR and business functions, ensuring HR strategies are effectively implemented across the Business Operations function. This role will work closely with the other HCBPs across the Business Operations Global team.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Business Partnership & Human Capital Corroboration Partner with senior HCBP and Finance leaders to understand business priorities and help align HR programs and initiatives in support of team objectives. Collaborate with leadership to support workforce planning discussions and talent-related needs. Work closely with Centers of Excellence (e.g., Talent Acquisition, Talent Development & Culture, Compensation) to help implement HR initiatives and programs. Talent Management and Workforce Planning Support talent planning and succession planning for the Finance organization. Assist in identifying skill gaps and development opportunities, helping leaders strengthen team capabilities and talent pipelines. Support performance management processes and provide guidance on employee development and career growth conversations. Organizational & Team Effectiveness Contribute to organizational effectiveness initiatives, including change management, team development, and culture-building efforts. Leverage HR data and metrics to identify trends and support recommendations for continuous improvement. Employee Engagement & Relations Support employee engagement initiatives and follow-up action planning efforts. Partner with Employee Relations and Legal teams to help address employee relations matters and provide guidance to managers. Help foster a collaborative, diverse, and inclusive work environment. Compliance & Risk Support compliance with labor laws, company policies, and HR procedures within the Finance organization. Assist in identifying potential risks and escalating concerns to support timely resolution.
QUALIFICATIONS 8
to 10 years of HR generalist experience, or other relevant HR experience, with a world-class global financial services firm

LI-ONSITE
This is the expected annual base salary range for this Boston-based position. Actual salaries may vary based on factors, such as skill, experience, and qualification for the role. Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus, based on factors such as individual and team performance. Base Salary Range $150,000
