This role ensures compliance with employment laws, supports employee relations, and oversees day to day HR operations. The ideal candidate is a knowledgeable, approachable leader with strong communication skills and excellent decision-making abilities.
Location:
Westborough, MA w/ ability to travel to Wilmington, MA weekly
Shift:
Monday-Friday 9am-5pm w/ some flexibility
Salary:
$85,000-90,000/year with an additional $500 motor vehicle allowance
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee daily HR operations, including employee relations, performance management, and policy administration Ensure compliance with all applicable federal and Massachusetts employment laws and regulations Manage leave programs, including
FMLA, PFMLA, ADA
accommodations, and unemployment matters Serve as a resource for all employees Partner with leadership on workforce planning, employee engagement, and organizational development Handle sensitive matters with professionalism, confidentiality, and sound judgment Develop and maintain HR policies, procedures, and records
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field required; Master's preferred 5+ years of progressive HR experience, including management-level responsibilities Strong knowledge of Massachusetts employment laws and regulations Experience with FMLA, PFMLA, ADA, unemployment claims, and benefits administration Clear and professional communication skills, both verbal and written Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage confidential information Self-starter with the ability to work independently, take initiative, and follow through Professional, service-oriented approach when supporting field and office staff Comfortable working with HR and scheduling systems (training provided) HR certification preferred (SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, SPHR)
