Job Description

We are looking for a skilled Human Resources (HR) Manager to join our team in Rockville, Maryland. In this role, you will act as a strategic partner to business leaders, aligning HR strategies with organizational priorities and fostering a culture rooted in our mission and values. The ideal candidate will possess a strong ability to manage complex HR challenges while driving performance, engagement, and organizational effectiveness.
Responsibilities:
  • Serve as the primary HR Business Partner for designated business units, ensuring alignment between people strategies and organizational goals.
  • Provide strategic HR leadership for diverse, multi-location teams, addressing key areas like performance management, employee engagement, and retention.
  • Act as the main escalation point for employee relations matters, offering guidance on policies, programs, and risk mitigation.
  • Collaborate with leadership to address employee relations issues, including performance management, talent development, and conflict resolution.
  • Offer proactive coaching and counsel to leaders, ensuring effective decision-making and consistent application of HR policies.
  • Lead investigations into employee relations concerns, assessing risks and determining appropriate actions in compliance with legal and organizational standards.
  • Partner with leaders on workforce planning and organizational initiatives such as succession planning, change management, and leadership development.
  • Drive team effectiveness by implementing strategies that enhance collaboration and resolve conflicts.
  • Support HR systems and processes, including onboarding, benefits administration, and HRIS management.
  • Ensure compliance with all legal and organizational HR standards while balancing employee experience and business needs.
