Job Description

We are looking for an experienced HR Director to join our team on a contract basis in Augusta, Maine.
MUST BE A MAINE RESIDNENT
In this role, you will oversee key aspects of human resource management, including employee relations, benefits administration, and compliance. This position is ideal for someone with a strong background in HR leadership and a passion for fostering a positive workplace culture.
Responsibilities:
Develop and implement HR strategies that align with organizational goals. Lead employee relations initiatives, addressing concerns and fostering a positive work environment. Oversee benefits programs, ensuring they meet employee needs and comply with regulations. Manage compensation structures and ensure equitable pay practices. Ensure HR policies and practices comply with legal and regulatory requirements. Provide guidance and support to management on personnel issues and workforce planning. Analyze HR metrics to identify trends and recommend improvements. Coordinate training and development programs to enhance employee skills and performance. Collaborate with leadership to drive diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives. Minimum of 5 years of experience in HR leadership roles. Strong knowledge of employee relations, benefits administration, and compensation management. Familiarity with HR compliance and regulatory requirements. Proven ability to develop and implement HR strategies that support organizational objectives. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Demonstrated ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion. Proficiency in analyzing HR metrics and recommending actionable improvements.
