Director of Nursing Pay rate : $90/hr to $95/hrSpecialty:

13 weeksGuaranteed Hours:
40 Nursing Management Coordinate and oversee nursing services and daily care delivery. Maintain appropriate staffing levels and participate in the selection and appointment of nursing personnel. Prepare and oversee staff schedules and on-call coverage. Conduct staff meetings and provide ongoing performance counseling. Coordinate employee evaluations and competency assessments with Human Resources. Address and resolve staff conflicts in accordance with facility policies. Monitor mandatory in-service completion and staff compliance. Authorize overtime within facility guidelines. Direct nursing personnel during emergency situations. Oversee narcotics and controlled medications. Assist with nursing department budgeting and financial planning. Qualifications Graduate of an accredited school of nursing. Current, active, and unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in Maine. BSN preferred. Minimum 3 years of experience required. Five years of management/leadership experience in addition to long-term care experience preferred. Long-term care experience preferred. Acute care or rehabilitation experience preferred.BLS/BCLS
