Job Description

Job Overview APT is seeking a Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) to support our growing and dynamic business. This position serves as a trusted advisor, providing coaching and guidance on employee relations, performance management, workforce planning, talent development, retention, and organizational effectiveness while also being involved in day-to-day HR execution. The HRBP helps managers build strong teams, identify and develop talent, navigate employee challenges, and improve overall workforce performance. What You'll Do Coach managers on employee relations, performance management, employee engagement, and leadership effectiveness. Provide guidance on disciplinary actions, performance improvement plans, and policy application. Build manager capability through training, coaching, and development initiatives. Drive talent initiatives such as onboarding, engagement, development, and retention strategies. Partner with managers to identify current and future staffing needs. Support departmental workforce planning and succession planning efforts. Help develop talent pipelines and career progression plans for employees. Conduct employee relations investigations and recommend appropriate resolutions. Address workplace concerns while ensuring compliance with company policies and employment laws. Leverage employee lifecycle data and HR analytics to identify trends, measure program effectiveness, and recommend actions that improve the employee experience and business results. Lead retention action planning with managers. Facilitate career development discussions and talent review processes. Support learning and development strategy, training programs, and manager development initiatives.

HR Partner with managers to improve employee engagement and team effectiveness. Utilize workforce metrics and data analysis to identify trends and support decision-making. Develop recommendations related to retention, productivity, staffing, and organizational effectiveness. Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and promote consistent application of company policies and practices Support handbook updates, policy maintenance, and HR process improvements. Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications Required:
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Organizational Development, or a related field required. Minimum of 5 years of progressive Human Resources experience Demonstrated success partnering with managers and influencing decision-making at multiple levels of an organization. Strong knowledge of employee relations, performance management, talent management, organizational development, and employment law. Experience conducting workplace investigations and resolving complex employee relations issues. Proven ability to analyze workforce data and translate insights into actionable business recommendations. Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Results-oriented with the ability to work independently and drive initiatives to completion. Exceptional relationship-building, communication, facilitation, and coaching skills. Demonstrated ability to balance strategic thinking with hands-on execution.
Preferred:
Manufacturing, construction, or industrial environment experience. SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, or SPHR certification.
Compensation and Benefits:
Salary range $90,000 - $130,000 The salary range provided reflects the anticipated base compensation for this position. At APT, we are committed to offering compensation that is competitive and aligned with market standards, considering factors such as skills, experience, education, certifications, and performance. As a result, compensation for the successful candidate(s) may fall anywhere within the stated range.
