Job DescriptionThis role supports the Enterprise Division by serving as a strategic Human Resources partner to leaders across Finance, Human Resources, Marketing, Operational Excellence, IT, and other enterprise functions. You'll be responsible for aligning business priorities with workforce, leadership, organizational, and culture initiatives that support sustainable growth and operational success. Your day-to-day responsibilities may include:
Business Partnership and Workforce PlanningDevelop a strong understanding of assigned functions' business priorities, operating models, workforce needs, and leadership challengesTranslate business and growth plans into workforce actions including capacity planning, talent priorities, and manager capability developmentAdvise leaders on organizational structure, role clarity, spans of control, and decision-making effectivenessAnticipate workforce and organizational risks and facilitate timely action plansEmployee Relations, Performance, and Manager CoachingServe as the primary advisor to leaders on routine to complex employee relations mattersCoach leaders through performance management, attendance and conduct concerns, conflict resolution, corrective action, and employment decisionsConduct or coordinate workplace investigations and document findings and recommendationsIdentify trends in employee relations activity and recommend proactive solutionsMaintain accurate and timely case documentationOnboarding, Employee Experience, and CultureSupport onboarding effectiveness by ensuring leaders are prepared and new employees are successfully integrated into their teamsGather employee feedback through conversations, surveys, and other listening channelsHelp leaders reinforce KE's values and foster a culture of trust, accountability, and performanceTalent, Leadership, and Succession PlanningIdentify capability and leadership gaps and develop appropriate growth and development plansFacilitate talent reviews, succession planning, critical role discussions, and development planningSupport internal mobility and career development initiatives across assigned functionsOrganizational Effectiveness and Change ManagementSupport organizational design and restructuring efforts that align workforce capabilities with business needsDevelop and execute people-focused change management plans for significant business initiativesAssess stakeholder impact, readiness, communication needs, and adoption strategiesWorkforce Insights and Continuous ImprovementUse workforce data and business insights to identify trends in turnover, retention, engagement, and performanceProvide leaders with actionable recommendations and follow through on workforce initiativesContribute to HRBP tools, standards, and best practices that improve consistency and scalabilityPartner with HRIS and People Operations to support HR technology adoption and data governancePartnership Within and Across Human ResourcesPartner closely with Talent Acquisition on workforce planning, hiring priorities, and retention effortsCollaborate with Total Rewards on compensation, benefits, and market competitiveness discussionsWork alongside People Operations, HRIS, Compliance, and Leave Administration to support employee and business needsCoordinate HR support across assigned functions and clarify ownership among specialized HR teamsHR Leadership and Support Team OversightProvide leadership, coaching, and day-to-day oversight of HR Generalist team members supporting the divisionQualificationsWhat You BringYou're someone who shows up ready to work hard, learn fast, and contribute to a team that takes pride in doing things right.
Successful candidates typically bring:
Seven or more years of progressive Human Resources experience, including substantial responsibility for advising leaders and managing employee relations mattersBachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, Organizational Development, or a related field, or equivalent combination of education and experienceDemonstrated experience coaching leaders through performance, employee relations, talent, workforce, and organizational challengesWorking knowledge of federal and state employment laws and experience supporting employees across multiple jurisdictionsExperience using workforce data and business information to influence decisions and recommendationsAbility to travel up to 25% to KE offices, project sites, and other business locationsBonus Points ForExperience supporting construction, industrial, field-based, or similarly distributed operationsExperience working in a high-growth or rapidly changing organizationExperience with organizational design, change management, succession planning, acquisitions, or integrationsExperience working with a modern HRIS (Paycom) and manager self-service modelProfessional certification such as PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP, or SHRM-SCPAdditional InformationPay RangeWe believe in paying for the value you bring to the team, and we aim to be competitive in every market we hire in.
Pay Range:
